Victoria Beckham has spoken out for the first time about recording new songs for the Spice Girls.
The singer, dubbed Posh, hasn't sung in the group since their split nearly ten years ago (98) - but reveals she has been recording her vocals at London's Olympic Studios, the same venue where the girl band recorded the tracks for Spice World: The Movie.
"The mic was put in front of me and I was like 'woah'. It was surreal being back in there.
"I always said I wasn't ever going to sing again and I really didn't expect to. But once I got going it was fun.
"The news songs are a progression of the old Spice stuff - nothing radical and still poppy but a bit different. We are all impressed with them."
Beckham's comments come as a surprise, as it's only been recently hinted that there might be a get-together with former bandmates Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.
On Tuesday's (05Jun07) Glamour Woman Of The Year Awards, she said, "We'll see what turns out, but between you and me, I'm really hopeful that it definitely will happen."
