Lindsay Lohan has been tipped to play Paris Hilton in a movie of her life.
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress, who is currently in Malibu’s Promises rehab centre, could also be joined by Britney Spears on the project.
A source told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper: “There have already been negotiations with a major film company to make the Paris Hilton biopic with Lindsay Lohan playing Paris - with Britney Spears singing the soundtrack.”
The three stars have previously been seen partying together.
Lindsay and Britney both entered rehab this year, while Paris was released from prison on Tuesday (26.06.07) after serving 23 days for driving with a suspended licence.
Last year, Paris and Lindsay - who have a tempestuous relationship - reportedly had a heated argument in Hollywood nightclub Hyde, after the hotel heiress accused the flame-haired actress of using her name to get publicity and for romancing ex-lover Stavros Niarchos.
However, the trio are now set to be reunited for the film and Paris is said to be excited about the project.
The source added: “Paris was on cloud nine. Rather than talking remorsefully about her time inside, she seemed energised by her plans to capitalise on her experience.
Heiress Paris Hilton has been released from jail in Los Angeles after serving approximately half of her 45-day sentence for violating her probation in a drink-driving case.
The 26-year-old smiled broadly as she walked by herself past photographers and camera operators.
She made no comment before joining her parents in their car.
Hilton is due to give her first post-jail interview to CNN's Larry King on his 'Larry King Live' show tomorrow night.

It seems that Pamela Anderson has found an exceptional business idea to carry her legacy forward.
The former Baywatch babe, who is currently touring Finland with her dad, is considering opening a chain of strip clubs.
Anderson, whose great-grandfather was Finnish, is in Scandinavia to host an upcoming music festival near Helsinki and has come up with the idea of a chain of clubs called Lapland.
"Also I thought of a great way to celebrate my Finnish heritage at home. I'm going to look into opening a chain of strip clubs and I'll call them Lapland!" The Sun quoted her, as stating on her website.
While in Finland, the playboy pin-up also wrote an appeal to president Tarja Halonen, pleading with her to prohibit fur farms.
"There are hundreds of fur farms here. The demand is getting lower for fur coats and they breed foxes here just for fur. Sweden, Austria and England have banned fur farms. Let's hope Finland will too,” she wrote.
Just four days left for Paris Hilton to be out of the slammer, and the socialite has revealed that she is a changed woman who is grateful for everything she has.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest of E News, the Simple Life star said that her gratitude has gone up so much for even the basic things she has been lucky enough to have.
"I'm so much more grateful for everything that I have, even just to have a pillow at night or food. You know, my gratitude has gone up so much,” us Weekly quoted her, as saying.
Hilton added that she is actually ‘sick’ of the media that had made fun of her plight, and that now, she wants to use her fame in ‘a good way’.
“I just realize that the media used me to make fun of and be mean about it...[I am] frankly sick of it and I want to use my fame in a good way,” she added.
The 26-year-old added that she is yearning to give her dad a big hug, but the prison rule forbid her to even do that.
Hilton also said that she is not a criminal or someone dangerous, and that it is hard but she is getting ‘stronger everyday’.
“I am behind glass and I want to give my dad a big hug and they won't even let me do that. That's how the rules are; you have to be behind glass. I'm not a criminal, I'm not dangerous, so it makes me feel like that. It's hard but I'm stronger everyday,” she said.
